It is normal! Your car’s AC system acts as a dehumidifier, pulling moisture out of the air inside the cabin. That moisture condenses on the evaporator core and safely drains out of a small tube onto the ground under your engine bay.

Over-the-counter recharge kits don't fix the underlying leak. More importantly, they frequently overcharge the system or introduce air and moisture, which mixes with refrigerant to create a corrosive acid that destroys the expensive AC compressor.
